HYDROVACUUM – Expertise Since 1862
The history of HYDROVACUUM dates back to 1862, reflecting decades of experience and innovation in pump technology. Our self-priming side channel pumps, SKC and SKD series, deliver reliable performance even with challenging liquids. These pumps combine a side-channel system with a pre-installed centrifugal impeller, making them ideal for handling demanding fluids within the corrosion resistance limits of the materials used. They can safely handle liquids containing solids up to 0.5 mm in size.
SKC Pumps – Flexible Medium-Flow Solutions
The SKC pump is designed for medium flow applications and can alternatively operate as a standard suction pump. For this mode, only a check valve on the suction line is required. Integration into a pump and suction system is essential, ensuring optimal performance.
SKD Pumps – True Self-Priming Excellence
The SKD pump stands out as a fully self-priming solution. A single initial fill is sufficient; pre-filling the suction line is not required, reducing installation effort and simplifying commissioning.
High Reliability Close to Boiling Points
Both SKC and SKD pumps can handle liquids even at low overpressures above the boiling point. The combination of low NPSH requirements and excellent suction performance ensures stable, cavitation-free operation—even under challenging operating conditions.
